Color of the Week - Pink

Lucy Interior Design is drifting on a pink cloud this week over all the interesting projects we have going on! We thought our color focus should capture the wonderful and multifaceted color, pink! This color can take on so many different personalities - from innocent and girly, to feminine and glamourous to funky and bold. Believe it or not, in Japan, the color pink has a masculine association and is said to represent the young Japanese warriors who fell in battle in the prime of life. I guess the phrase "it takes a real man to wear pink" rings true.

LID Photo Shoot

Last week we had a very successful photo shoot with Susan Gilmore. It was a great day filled with wonderful people, interesting conversations and fabulous photography. To top it off, the house we shot at had the most amazing collection of art and artifacts from all around the world for us to admire all day long.
